伊斯蘭與中東事務觀察

解構新聞論述 華盛頓郵報： In Gaza Hamas rule has not turned out as many expected 華盛頓日報 ㄧ 再強調哈馬斯政府如此霸道 ， 過去五年沒有 辦 法改善加薩人民生活 。 但很重要的 ㄧ 點 ， 該文忘了提到 ， 那就是過去這五年 ， 以色列仍持續封鎖加薩與摧毀加薩學校 、 醫院與公共設施 。 加薩成為世界上最大的監獄 ， 失業率接近五成 。 如果要去加薩 ， 從以色列邊境進入難度超高 ， 必須經由以色列軍方同意 。 直到去年因阿拉伯之春關係 ， 埃及獨裁者下台後 ， 加薩與埃及的邊境 Rafah Crossing 重新開放 ， 人員與物資可有限度的流動 ， 但仍無法解決加薩社會與經濟問題 。 小編 ㄧ 位巴勒斯坦朋友 ， 去年暑假回加薩時 ， 走的路徑是從埃及回到加薩 ， 他不願從以色列邊境入境 ， 因為會帶給他許多不必要的麻煩 。 這些事實或許知名的華盛頓日報編輯已知道 ， 只是因政治正確之故 ， 不能將實話 說 出來 ， 只好偏重加薩人民不滿哈馬斯政府 ㄧ 事提出單方面的報導 。

此文作者是亞非學院 (SOAS) 的老師，是我研究伊朗近代史台灣朋友的碩班指導教授。這篇文章簡要介紹政治伊斯蘭 (Political Islam) 歷史，修正傳統學術圈對政治伊斯蘭的認知。其中ㄧ段句子與我的研究方法很接近，證明該研究方法是可行的。 「知識份子通常不會將伊斯蘭視為研究題材，因為這代表是與社會科學的妥協。很少學者在國關學科（ IR ）領域接受伊斯蘭是有效的分析單位。這種偏見顯示了以歐洲為中心論的研究取向，滲入許多大學課程中。」 「名嘴在主流媒體的言論，將政治伊斯蘭詮釋為難以理解、妖魔化與誇大的現象。這種對伊斯蘭政治的詮釋無法使我們理解西亞與北非現在正發生了什麼。」 This article is an introduction to a   special series of posts   commissioned by   LSE IDEAS   exploring Islamism and the Arab Spring. 大馬士革的日出 Ibrahim編輯 2010 年 10 月突尼西亞爆發所謂「茉莉花革命」，人民走向街頭要求獨裁者下台，緊接者幾個月，埃及、葉門、利比亞、巴林與敘利亞等國，當地人民受到這股氛圍影響，紛紛走向街頭要求自由民主。然而並不是每個阿拉伯國家如突尼西亞與埃及般，可在人民犧牲最少的情況下，順利地改變獨裁體制，重整國家體制。利比亞則是血淋淋的例子，由早先的人民示威轉變為分裂對立態勢，甚至最後走向內戰與西方介入的後果，雖最終格達非政權倒台，但現今利比亞局勢依舊埋藏不穩定的因素。 今日泛阿拉伯地區，就屬敘利亞局勢仍未可解。從早期人民單純走向街頭，要求政府改革，這ㄧ年來，情況持續不斷惡化，和平示威者遭狙擊者槍殺、越來越多叛軍出現攻擊政府軍；而政府軍籠統地將反對政府勢力 [1] 冠上「恐怖份子」與「背後國際陰謀者支持」，現在敘利亞局勢已經難以收拾，傷亡人數不斷向上攀升，人民死亡人數保守估計已達九千人以上，甚至半島電視台資深評論人警告，未來北約若介入敘利亞，到時敘國死亡人數更會超越利比亞的總數。 [2]   即使聯合國安理會日前提出和平計畫，敘利亞局勢仍未見好轉。

不知道下面這篇算不算具有強烈種族與宗教歧視的文章。英國勞工黨前國會議員 George Galloway 於上週贏得 Bradford 區域的議員補選。 Galloway 過去以反帝國主義與反對伊拉克與阿富汗戰爭著名，也因此在 2003 年遭到勞工黨開除。 去年 11 月 Galloway 到小編的學校演講「英國與巴勒斯坦問題」。演講中，他提到他討厭帝國主義，因為帝國會帶來罪惡。如 1917 年「貝爾福宣言」 (The Balfour Declaration) ，決定未來巴勒斯坦人的悲劇。 Galloway 的言論與現在英國一般政治人物有很大的區別，許多人將 Galloway 視為激進政治人物，因為他支持穆斯林，反對西方佔領穆斯林土地。所以在 Galloway 補選中贏得國會議員席次後，有許多人開始撰文攻擊他，這ㄧ篇為明顯的例子，將 Galloway 打成支持激進穆斯林勢力與欲製造英國社會動亂的元兇。 針對 Bradford 的議員補選。 Galloway 的勝利是成就非凡的。 Bradford 地區穆斯林人口佔 20% ，此次勞工黨派出穆斯林參選人，很明顯是要搶穆斯林的選票，但最終仍慘輸給 Galloway （ 56% ： 25% ）。 Galloway 以小黨 (The Respect party) 身分參選，成為 1973 年以來第一位以小黨身分（非勞工與保守黨）贏得補選的候選人。 ============================== By  ABHIJIT PANDYA PUBLISHED:  20:30, 1 April 2012  |  UPDATED:  08:39, 2 April 2012 Galloway’s victory is a vindication for, above all people, Enoch Powell.  Powell warned of the dangers that mass immigration would have.
